Introduction
There are many web pages devoted to breastfeeding. Why did I
decide to create one more? I wanted to do something slightly
different.
This page is meant to be comprehensive. It contains information on
every aspect if breastfeeding that a lay person might be interested
in.
I tried to make this page easy to use by organizing it into many
short sections with links between them. Each link you follow takes
you to a file that contains some text and, usually, more links. I
call this way of using the breastfeeding page the BROWSE
option. You can follow links to read whatever you find interesting. I
tried to include something on every aspect of breastfeeding that I
could think of. If you have further suggestions, please
e-mail me. This way of using the page is ideal for people who
don't have specific questions, but are just interested in gathering
general information about breastfeeding.
If you have a specific question, you might prefer the GUIDED
TOUR option. This option uses the same files as the BROWSE
option, except that there is a navigation frame on the left edge of
your screen that can quickly direct to the relevant section (people
using frame-challenged browsers can open the navigation frame in its
own window).
One last way in which you can use the page is by referring to The
FILE LIST. This is a list of all the html
files found at this web location with brief descriptions. This is the
closest I can come to a keyword search without using scripts.
I have no pictures so far; if this page proves to be interesting
and useful, I might add some. Please let me know if you think this is
worth doing--it might be useful to add pictures showing correct
positioning and latch-on styles, manual expression techniques and so
on, but only if people use them! So, tell me if you've found this
page useful as it is, and tell me if you'd find it more useful if it
had pictures. Or make any other suggestions!

I have not yet finished working on this page. In fact, I'm not
even half-way yet. You'll notice that many of the links don't work.
This is because I have not yet created the files those links refer
to. If you get frustrated because of this, you can e-mail me and tell
me which files you would like me to work on first. I will then try to
create the appropriate files promptly, and, if you wish, let you know
by e-mail when I have done so.
