WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. Name of Product: Toy Boats Units: About 200 Importer: Buzz's Boatyard, of New Smyrna Beach, Fla. Hazard: The paint on the recalled toy boats contains an excess level of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard. Incidents/Injuries: None reported. Description: This recall involves two models of tin Pop Pop toy boats. Models included in the recall are the 13-inch "Titanic" and the "Hut" Pop Pop boats. Sold at: Buzz's Boatyard's Web site (www.buzzboats.com) from April 2007 to November 2007 for between $3 and $12. Manufactured in: India Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the recalled toys away from children and contact Buzz's Boatyard for a refund or an exchange.
