For a lot of people spring is the time of new beginnings, but for me, it’s fall. The kids are back in school; football season has started – now I have more time for projects I have planned, more time for me. I will have time to work on my business, add new features to my site, and work on the writing projects I’ve wanted to get to.
In addition to the time I have, I also have more motivation. I love to shop for school supplies: new paper, new pencils. It all gets me motivated to begin a new project.
I was thinking about this in the shower the other day when my little girl threw back the shower curtain and said, “Hey Dad?”
Now, this is very bad news for:
a) Me, because naked, I look like my husband.
b) My husband, because naked, I look like him.
c) My daughter, for not being able to tell the difference.
The correct answer is probably “all of the above.”
Working at home and spending a lot of time on the computer obviously hasn’t done much for my fitness level. So I guess my first “me” project should be to get serious about an exercise program.
And hopefully the next time I’m interrupted in the shower, there won’t be an identity mix-up.
